The Wilkinson County Chamber of Commerce was incorporated in December 1997 for the purpose of advancing the economic, commercial, industrial, professional, educational, cultural, and civic welfare of Wilkinson County. The members of the initial Board of Directors were as follows: Greg Bazemore, Joe Boone, Joyce Denson, Bucky Dixon, Dennis Holder, Carl Langston, Phyllis Lavender, Amy Orr, Terry Reese, Jerry Shinholster, and Gary Snow.
Currently, the board of the Chamber of Commerce is led by Jonathan Snow, chairman; vice chair Greg Bazemore, secretary/treasurer Gary Snow and members Bryan Sappe, Melissa Wilson, Marjo Baisden, Mark DuPree, Jonathan Jackson and Greg Tyson.
